Community Guidelines

At It Looks Good, I want this website to feel visually inspiring, personal, respectful, and welcoming. I created this blog as a space centered around fashion, beauty, and everyday style inspiration for women, and I care not only about how the site looks, but also about the kind of atmosphere it creates. These Community Guidelines explain the standards I expect from anyone who interacts with the site, contacts me, submits content, leaves comments if that feature is available, or otherwise participates in the community around It Looks Good. My goal is to protect a calm, thoughtful, and respectful environment.

I welcome kind, constructive, and relevant interaction. You do not need to agree with every opinion, aesthetic choice, or style direction I share in order to be part of this space. Personal style is subjective, and thoughtful disagreement can exist without disrespect. What matters to me is the tone of participation. I want communication connected to this blog to feel mature, courteous, and grounded in basic respect for other people.

Please communicate in a respectful way. Harassment, personal attacks, hateful language, degrading remarks, threats, intimidation, bullying, stalking behavior, or deliberately hostile conduct are not welcome here. That includes behavior directed at me, at readers, at brands, at contributors, or at any other person connected to the site. If a message, comment, or submission feels abusive, aggressive, or clearly intended to provoke rather than communicate, I reserve the right to remove it, ignore it, block it, or take any other action I believe is appropriate.

I also do not allow spammy or manipulative behavior. That includes repetitive self-promotion, irrelevant links, mass posting, misleading comments, fake engagement, impersonation, fraudulent inquiries, automated submissions, malicious files, or attempts to misuse contact forms and communication channels. I want the site to remain useful and personal, not overwhelmed by noise or bad-faith activity. Messages and participation should be real, relevant, and respectful of the purpose of the space.

If commenting, submissions, or other interactive features are available now or in the future, please keep your participation relevant to the topic and suitable for a general audience. Do not post unlawful, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, exploitative, invasive, or intentionally misleading content. Do not post content that infringes the rights of others, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights. Do not submit content you do not have the right to share.

I also ask readers and participants to avoid presenting speculation as fact, especially in relation to products, people, brands, health-related beauty issues, or personal claims. This is a style and beauty blog, not a place for rumor-spreading, false claims, or misleading statements. If you share an opinion, present it as an opinion. If you raise a concern, do so clearly and respectfully. I care about maintaining trust, and that includes not allowing the community around the site to become careless or deceptive.

Because this website is visual in nature, I also want to set expectations around images and creative materials. Some images on this site may be edited, enhanced, stylized, retouched, composited, or otherwise processed, including with the help of artificial intelligence. I want discussion around visual content to remain respectful and grounded. Honest questions are welcome, but harassment, bad-faith accusations, or intentionally inflammatory commentary about visual presentation are not.

Please do not copy, scrape, republish, or misuse site content in a way that violates my rights or the rights of others. That includes copying full posts, reposting original site materials without permission, taking branded graphics, or redistributing images, layouts, or written content in misleading or unauthorized ways. If you want to reference something from the site, do so respectfully and with proper context. If you need permission for a specific use, contact me first rather than assuming it is allowed.

If you contact me by email or through any future submission feature, please keep your message clear, relevant, and respectful. I welcome thoughtful reader messages, appropriate collaboration inquiries, and constructive feedback. I may ignore, decline, filter, archive, or block messages that are abusive, inappropriate, irrelevant, deceptive, or excessive. Sending a message does not create a business relationship, guarantee a response, or create any obligation on my part beyond what is required by law.

I reserve the right to moderate, remove, restrict, report, or refuse any comment, submission, message, or interaction that I believe violates these Community Guidelines, the site’s policies, applicable law, or the overall tone I want to maintain. I do not have to publish every submission or respond to every request. Moderation decisions may be made at my discretion in order to protect the site, its readers, and its broader environment. Keeping this space calm and usable matters more to me than allowing every kind of participation.

These Community Guidelines may be updated over time as the site grows, new features are added, or the needs of the community change. The most current version posted on the website will apply. By interacting with It Looks Good, you agree to engage in a respectful and lawful way that supports the tone and purpose of the site. I want this to remain a place where beauty and style can be explored without unnecessary hostility, pressure, or chaos.
